Hi everybody, my name is Maxine and I came to Sunflowers nearly a year ago to the support group due to losing my husband who died of cancer at age 50 years old.
Sunflowers has helped me a lot by meeting new people who can relate to what I am going through, and the staff are so kind and helpful supporting and lovely. I would recommend people who have lost someone through illness to come to Sunflowers as it has other things going on, counselling, therapies to relax, yoga, painting and other activities that can help you relax.
